Welcome to the exciting Kid’s “Biz In A Box” (22 page) OFFLINE adventure for individual students or classrooms for ages 8 to 13. This all-inclusive program provides the essential learning tools, forms, and products (if provided) to kickstart your entrepreneurial journey and pave the way for success.
These 'Biz In A Box' programs may include products to sell, such as keychains, stickers, reusable straws, jewelry, and more. If your program doesn’t include products, you may find items to sell from local or online stores, or make your own! The goal is to sell the items and earn money. When this program is finished, students will have cash and the skills to succeed in any business venture they dream of starting!
We'll start by exploring interests, passions, and strengths. Then, we'll dive into what it means to be an entrepreneur and explore different ways of doing business. Next, we'll discuss strategies for maximizing profit from the products being sold. We'll build confidence through fun and interactive games, kickstart the marketing journey, and begin making sales to earn money.
Optional Product Ideas: www.Amazon.com offers a fantastic array of products perfect for bulk purchasing. Look for items that can be bought in large quantities, such as keychains, stylish pens, jewelry (including bracelets, earrings, and necklaces), toys, and glow-in-the-dark items. Simply type "Bulk items to sell" in Amazon’s search bar to discover a variety of fun and potentially profitable options. Price and sell each item accordingly to earn a nice profit.
Instructors/Teachers: Guide students through each page and activity, encouraging them to actively participate by reading the content aloud in the classroom. When students have questions, motivate them to seek answers independently, fostering essential entrepreneurial skills. “Google” can be a great tool or students can try www.chatgpt.com to experience A.I. assistance. Use the last page 19 (Icebreakers) throughout the program and at your discretion.
